Players’ Edward Spencer was also honored with the prestigious Mario
Pitocco
Award, which is presented
annually to an individual who has shown continuous service and
excellence in
creative technical theatre. Ed’s love
affair with theatre began in 1963 and has continued through 44
years of outstanding creativity and support of Cincinnati’s community
theatre
in areas such as directing, producing, lighting design, set design and
stage
management.
In the
fall of 2007, the Beechmont Players become the Arts Organization in
Residence
at the new Anderson Township Civic Center.
